To our sponsors, donors, vendors, ticket purchasers and friends of AxessPointe:

As an organization that sincerely cares about our community, employees and patients, we are being faced with many difficult decisions related to COVID-19. The circumstances continue to change as we learn more each day about the virus. Given what we know today, we believe it’s our mission as a healthcare leader to do what we can to slow the spread of this virus and keep the safety of everyone as first priority. As such, we have decided to postpone our 25th anniversary gala, Lights, Camera, AxessPointe. The event has been postponed until Spring of 2021.

We understand that many have already committed to the success of the event via sponsorships, ticket sales and donations. We anticipate that there will be questions regarding this support; please do not hesitate to reach out to Stephanie Berry or Koblia Vue directly. Stephanie can be reached at sberry@axesspointe.org and Koblia can be reached at kvue@axesspointe.org. The event will be taking place next year and announcements will be sent to everyone as we have more details.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Again, keeping you and the community safe is our highest priority. Please remember to be kind and do what you can as individuals to protect what every one of us values above all—one another.

Stay safe and wash those hands,

Stephanie Berry Director of Marketing

AxessPointe Community Health Centers, Inc. is celebrating their 25th anniversary this year! We are both excited and humbled to have reached this milestone. In honor of this, we are hosting our first ever event! The gala will be filled with celebration amongst friends and community partners who have supported AxessPointe and gotten us to where we are today. Dinner will be served, a bar will be available (two drinks included with ticket purchase), a DJ will be onsite providing entertainment, and we’ll be hosting a live auction full of amazing and must-have items/experiences. Honorary Chairs, Robert & Charlene DeJournett, are looking forward to spending a night out celebrating and honoring Dr. William Keck, co-founder of AxessPointe Community Health Centers, and retired City of Akron Director of Health.
