Jenna Ackerman officially joined AxessPointe Community Health Centers in December 2017. She works as a Nurse Practitioner at the Arlington location. Prior to joining AxessPointe, Jenna worked for Akron General for nine years at a variety of primary care offices, including: Portage Hills, North Hill Family Practice and Canal Physicians Group. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier University in 2008. Jenna continues to be active in education by currently teaching at Walsh University and providing preceptor services to nurse practitioner students from more than seven universities. She is certified through AANP and is a member of AANP and OAAPN. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Jenna worked as a registered nurse in oncology at Summit Oncology and Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. Her free time is spent gardening, hiking and cooking with her family.
