Dr. Oyeriende, MD DrPH FAAP joined the AxessPointe family in June of 2022, bringing over 10 years of pediatric experience with him.
Dr. Oyerinde received his Bachelor of Medicine from Obafemi Awolowo University in 1988. Following that accomplishment, he went on to receive many academic achievements , including a Master of Public Health from the University of Lagos and a Master of Science in Epidemiology from the University of Pretoria. After the completion of his master programs, Dr. Oyerinde continued his impressive medical training and completed his Residency in Pediatrics at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in New York. In December of 2015, Dr. Oyerinde finished his education at the University of North Carolina by receiving his Doctorate in Health Policy & Management.
While working towards completing his training, Dr. Oyerinde gained experience at many facilities within the medical field. He was named a Pediatric Attending Children’s Medical Group In New York. Simultaneously to working professionally here, he also focused his time on teaching, completing research, and formulating policies as an Assistant Clinical Professor with Columbia University.
Upon graduating, Dr. Oyerinde participated as a Pediatric Attending at CHI-St. Alexius Health in North Dakota. From there, he moved on to become a Pediatric Attending at a number of different health facilities, including Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, Greater Philadelphia Health Inc., and Boriken Community Health Center. During all of his Pediatric Attending positions, Dr. Oyerinde’s focus remained on providing general pediatric service to children ranging from birth to the age of eighteen.
