Taryn Burhanna has been a part of AxessPointe Community Health Centers since January 2019, serving as a Nurse Practitioner at both the Akron/Arlington and Kent locations. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Kent State University in May 2018. In addition to her clinical work, Taryn is a faculty member at Kent State University, where she provides clinical instruction for Community Health Nursing and lectures for accelerated nursing students in various courses. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and is an active member of the organization. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Taryn worked as a registered nurse with the Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, and the Cleveland Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center.
